samsung E250 quite a solid phone screen is okay not the best, but the phone UI and extra features are very good
KC550 by LG looks ok, not too sure, but you could google for some reviews
nokia 2610/2630 cheap, solid, easy to use, masses of bettery life, not the latest phones but if you don’t do a lot of mp3 playing they should b fine

you can get any phone on and network , it just depends what you want,
1) a good looking one
2) gadgets galore
3) small
4) cute
5) big
6) music
it all depends what you want the phone for and what you want on it and what to have, there are so many phones out there for you to ask this question you need to give us more info about what you want it to do .
