After I pay this 10 bucks, should any money be being deducted off my balance still?
Nope, after you pay for the texting pack there are no more charges. Unless of course you call someone, or download something. As for text messages, pictures messages (any type of messaging) there will be no more charges because you have already purchased the text pack for a month.
