OK, there is one pay as you go T-Mobile phone in the United Kingdom that I really like (LG Shine) and I live in the United States. I was wondering if I could buy the pay as you go phone in the UK and then put in a pay as you go T-Mobile Sim card from the USA in the phone?
I cant wait until I qualify to go to the UK for my job!! How is it over there.
Im intrested in buying 50 used mobile phones, ill be in london for the next few weeks anybody knows where can u get them at a fair price?
Try cash converters/ cash concept, also most mobile operators (e.g. orange, t-mobile, etc) sell reconditioned fones look on there websites.
hey all.
I plan on buying a new mob phone, but what does it mean when a phone is 3g compatible?
FYI, i live in perth australia, using three network. because i wanna but the mob phone from overseas, im very afraid it wont work with this australian network "three".
Help please? Does it have anything to do with 3g?
Ty
3g is faster mobile internet unlike EDGE which is 2.7g. And the phone will work as long as it’s 3g capable and "Three" supports the 3g network!!!
Contact "Three" customer service for more info!
when I use in in abroad?
I think matrix has a good service all over the world.
I live in the uk and have an orange mobile phone. What number do i ring to find out my balance on my pay as you go phone ?
the above answer is correct..or you can check it online..make an account..its soo easy
like samsung, lg, and sony without contracts so i can use it where i live (Guam).
dont click the blackman link, it leads to a virus
i was wondering if anyone knew of a place where i could pick up a cheap 3g mobile phone in aus
You never know what you might find on ebay?
I’ve never actually bought a cell phone there but know people who have. I’ve have great success with buying cheap games and memory cards
Select a model you are interested in. Then type that model into the search engine on ebay to have it look for relevant auctions. Just be prepared to let go if the price gets higher than you want to pay.
it means that you can put any sim card you want in it the choice is yours ![]()
the phone is unlocked that is why you pay that little bit more for them
Does anyone know if pay as you go o2 mobiles are unlocked?
Not a brand new one no they will only be on O2, but you can get them unlocked at a shop for about tenner
would the plugs be different.and the networks
It should be ok, but you would need to look for a Tri Band phone. The plugs would be different, but if you look on the internet you should be able to find adaptors.
As for the networks, you would need to check that with them, some networks in America aren’t available over here. I’m on Virgin network over here, but when I take my Samsung E570 to the USA it goes on to T Mobile. You’d also need to check with the network that your phone is set up at their end to work in another country.
