Basically I want to know if the credit runs out at the end of each month or does it stay as it is? I know if you top up £15 you can triple but its not carried over, but what I want is a phone I can add say £10 to, and it will stay on there for months if not used.
Thanks zoot, thats exactly what i needed to know. Consider yourself best answer.x

I have a tesco mobile and have put £20 on it in 9 months – it does not expire the credit :)

What is the best in 3G Mobile Phones?

Check the service area to see which provider covers your area best. It also dosn’t hurt to ask around to people in your area to see who they use. Then look them over and check out all the features to see which suits you best. All 3G phones are going to be good, its kind of a personal preference.

I am eager to know about the deals on Sim Free mobile Phones. I am also not much aware of the sim free mobile phones real meaning. Is it the mobile phone free of the networks and i can use any of the network on a single mobile phone or the mobile phone is just a CDMA phone in which there is no need to insert the sim card and we can use it with a single network forever with proper recharge?

exactly
simfree means you do not get it with any sim card. it is unlocked to any network and you can use your own network simcard of your own choice and you have no any contract. you have to top up your card prior as much your need.
CDMA is different thing, with CDMA you can’t use other sim cards and CDMA works only with particular networks that the phone meant to be with that network
check here for genuine sim free mobiles at good reasonable price

I would like to buy a mobile phone in london but i want it free from any network can you please tell me where is the best place to get them?

I would go for the Carphone Warehouse myself. Perhaps not the cheapest, but they’re a reputable store and always have a very good stock of sim-free handsets (apart from those which are exclusive to networks, e.g. the iPhone).

Steer clear of independents, especially in not-so-nice areas. You never know where their phones come from!

Do they use minute cards, do they come with them when you buy them?

When you buy your Boost Mobile phone you will receive $10 worth of airtime. After that you must buy minute cards to replenish your account. They come in $20, $30, or $50 cards. The walkie-talkie feature is $1.00 a day for each day that you use it. If you don’t use it one day, they will not charge you. Telephone minutes are 20 cents a minute. You can check your balance at boostmobile.com

I’ve been checking out prices on the orange website, and they have a web discounted price on contracts. I hear that this is because orange stores and the orange online store are different company.. or under different management. or something? So where does over the phone sales fall into? Is it cheaper than buying in-store?

online companies are usually cheaper, yes. high sreet shops charge stupid amounts for contracts. online contracts are a lot cheaper.

use this website. it compares all online deals for particular phones. dirt cheap prices. contracts start from £3 a month !
